Colour Houses at Martha
Martha Cullimore Colour Houses are a way for students in every grade, from JK to Grade 6, to get together and work as a team throughout the year in a variety of challenges. Challenges include: The Colour HouseWalk-a-thon, Community Care Challenge, Magazine Sales, Spirit Day participation and schoolyard competitions among others. The purpose of our Colour Houses is to foster friendly competition among the groups, while still maintaining sportsmanship, positive attitudes, and respect for everyone. Each Colour House is comprised of students from JK to Grade 6, with the Grade 6 students taking on a leadership role through organizing and encouraging their team in various intramural activities and challenges. They also have two staff members involved in their House.
Cougar Coupons are also a way that we recognize the students when they demonstrate the positive qualities that we encourage each and every day at Martha Cullimore. We are extremely proud of each Colour House and their efforts in making Martha Cullimore a “Great Place to Be”.
